One day, i was trying to reduce the size of an mp3 file to include it in a webpage , I tried many converters and many compressors to reduce the size of audio. While experimenting, i got this option. It reduced 7 Mb Audio to 700 Kb Audio in just few steps.

If you want to reduce the size of an mp3 file, then Follow these steps to get a better result.

Install Jet Audio Basic

Right click on the file you have to reduce the size,for an example (7mb.mp3).
Now select convert with jetaudio option.(It will only display if you installed jetaudio basic)
After selcting that option, a new window will apear. in that, you can see he file you selected, tick it and go to bottom, where you can see Output Format.  Select OGG  and tick 'Transfer Tag if tag format supported' option ifyou want to keep tags. After that, click on config.



After clicking on config button, a window titled as Config, will appear .
There you have to change format of audio.
Set Channel as Mono.
Bitrate to 48 Kbps
Then Click Ok


Now , We have configured  Output Format.

Lets start Converting .
Click on Start.




After Completeing Conversion, a dialogue box will apear asking that whether we want to add to album or not. Click no.


Converting to Ogg fdormat just completed.

Now close editor and jet audio application,and Open folder where old file exist
You can see our new file with an extention .ogg there. (if you dont see extention, go here).

Now open Total video converter, and select our Ogg file. and click open


After clicking open, t will popup a window asking which format we need to convert this file.
In audio section, select Mp3 Audio


In next screen that appears after selcting mp3 audio as our output file format,Click On settings, and it will popup a window titled as Options.




Now Change Values.
Click on Custom field and Enter values as 11026 and and next 14.








Click on convert now
it will be converted within no time, And you will get oputput file as less size!!
